We hope 2014 is off to a great start at your institutions. To kick off the New Year, we have several new resources that will be helpful as you continue to develop your campus internationalization strategy.
ACE has added a link to the first paper in a series titled CIGE Insights: Global Higher Education. This new publication, “Leading the Globally-Engaged Institution: New Directions, Choices and Dilemmas” explores issues discussed by North American and European institutional leaders at the summer 2012 Trans-Atlantic Dialogue. This resource can be found in the Partnerships and Collaboration section as a free publication.
NAFSA has added a link to its new “Resources for Supporting Diversity in Education Abroad” web pages in the Education Abroad resources section. That section also features two new NAFSA webinars, “Student Health and Safety Abroad: Collaborations Between Staff and Faculty” and “Developing an International Internship Program.” In the International Student and Scholar section, NAFSA has added two new resources, a new publication “International Student Orientation Models” (free for download) and a new edition of “Medical Insurance for Students, Scholars and their Families,” the latter updated to cover the Affordable Care Act.
